We are pleased to introduce the latest TFT LCD panel release from our partner Kyocera. Their new 7.0″ WVGA high brightness low power TFT LCD panel combined with Kyocera’s own glass/glass 4-Wire Resistive Inner Touch Panel Technology is sure to create a lot of interest within the display industry.

The panel offers a high resolution of 800×480 pixels (WVGA) and has a 70k hrs long life LED backlight producing a high brightness almost 600 nits. The addition of Kyocera’s own glass/glass inner touch panel which also includes the TFT LCD’s polariser on the touch’s flexible front glass reduces the amount of reflections within the panels construction and produces an extraordinaryly clear display. With the panels wide operating temperature range of -20 to +70ºC and an industry standard 18-Bit RGB interface a host of applications both indoor and out can be realised.

With Kyocera’s longterm supply guarantees and their committment to this industry we believe that the 7.0″ panel will become another industry standard size in the industrial equipment market to accompany their 5.7″ QVGA and VGA panels.
