The i.MX8M Quad, Quad Lite, Dual based SMARC System On Module integrates Quad/Dual Cortex A53 @ up to 1.5GHz, H.265 4K60 decode, GC7000 Lite GPU, MIPI CSI/DSI, HDMI2.0 TX, USB3.0, PCIe2.0 with on SOM 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet PHY and 802.11n Wi-Fi & BLE4.0 module. The NXP i.MX8QuadMax SMARC System On Module is aimed to offer maximum performance with higher efficiency for complex embedded application of consumer, medical and industrial embedded computing applications.

The VAR-SOM-MX8X is a pin2pin System on Module, compatible with the VAR-SOM-MX8, VAR-SOM-MX6, and VAR-SOM-SOLO/DUAL. It offers Variscite’s customers a high level of scalability, extended lifetime availability and reduced development time, cost and risk.

A high-performance yet power-optimized platform, the VAR-SOM-MX8X supports NXP’s i.MX 8QuadXPlus / 8DualXPlus / 8DualX 1.2GHz Cortex™-A35 processor plus Cortex-M4F real-time co-processor. It provides built-in safety features, highly integrated multimedia support and efficient power/performance architecture.

The DART-MX8M offers an ideal solution for embedded systems that require high-end multimedia applications in a small form factor, as well as portable and battery operated products.

This tiny 30mm x 55mm ARM SoM is based on NXP i.MX8M Quad 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A53 plus 266MHz Cortex-M4. The high multimedia performance spec encompasses 4K video HEVC/H265/H264/VP9 decode with HDR, high-quality audio, 4K display support, 2D/3D graphics acceleration, with a variety of interfaces and connectivity options.

This SBC in PicoITX form factor is based on a NXP i.MX 8M applications processor with Arm Cortex-A53 and ARM Cortex-M4, enabling asymmetric multiprocessing. i.MX8M Mini PicoCore System On Module

   
The PicoCore™ Computer On Module product family has a new member, based on the NXP i.MX 8M Mini ARM® CPU, called PicoCoreMX8MM. The small size of 35 x 40mm only makes the module an ideal partner for compact housings. The i.MX 8M Mini is NXP’s first embedded multi-core heterogeneous applications processor. It brings together high-performance computing, power efficiency, enhanced system reliability and embedded security, which is needed to drive the growth of fast-growing edge node computing, streaming multimedia, and machine learning applications.
At the heart is a scalable core complex of up to four ARM® Cortex®-A53 cores running up to 2GHz plus Cortex®-M4 based real-time processing domain at 400+ MHz.
The i.MX 8M Mini also packs-in hardware 1080p video acceleration to enable two-way video applications, 2D and 3D graphics to provide a rich visual HMI experience.
The PicoCore™ standard uses two plug connectors (Hirose DF40C) with 100 pins each. This results in compact size and low board-to-board distance.
